Posterior strength:

Cable pull throughs are an exercise I use to help prime the posterior chain to help with the lockout of a deadlift. By hinging at the hips and thrusting through you are activating your glutes, hamstrings, and lower back. Helping you get in an upright position, similar to that of a kettle bell swing. One of the benefits of using bands in this exercise is that you can really perform this with maximal intent. The fast and powerful hip drive is beneficial for general population and performance.
